This page is in Loving Memory of our very much loved and wanted son Nathan. 'oor wee JeLLybean'
Nathan was born asleep at 21+6 weeks gestation on the 7th March 2008 at 23.49 and weighed 1lb 3oz
due to a major heart defect called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, basically he only had half a
heart and wasnt going to survive no matter what we did, so we had to make the hardest decision in
our lives to let our baby boy be born early as after the choices we were given, this was the only
way he wasnt going to suffer.
Real heartache is giving birth to your baby knowing he wont survive the delivery, Walking out the
maternity unit with nothing but a memory pouch and leaving your baby behind, then having to go
through a funeral, putting your baby to rest, then having to face living the rest of your life
without him.

The Little Wave
The story is about a little wave, bobbing along in the ocean, having a grand old time. He's enjoying the wind and the fresh air – until he notices the other waves in front of him, crashing against the shore. “My God, this terrible,” the wave says. “Look what's going to happen to me!”
Then along comes another wave. It sees the first wave, looking grim, and it says to him: “Why do you look so sad?” The first wave says: “You don't understand! We're all going to crash! All of us waves are going to be nothing! Isn't it terrible?”
